The Moiliili Triangle Park TORII GATE SCULPTURE & ARTS Repainting Story

The Moiliili Torii Gate was installed in 2000 to commemorate the HJCC's 100th Anniversary as a gift from the Hiroshima Prefecture and Government and the Hiroshima Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was then repainted in 2006 and recently received a fresh new coat of paint thanks to assistance from HJCC Past Chair Wayne Kato (FY 2010-2011) who is President of Painter's Warehouse.

MAHALO! Chopsticks & Wine 2023

After nearly a four-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce's Chopsticks & Wine event finally made it's full-scale return on Thursday, April 13th, 2023. Nearly 1,100 HJCC Members, friends, and foodies attended the event at the Hawaii Convention Center as we celebrated the 19th anniversary of our signature fundraising event.
