Volunteers participated in Meals on Wheels

HJCC members participated in the Lanakila Pacific Meals on Wheels on Saturday, February 29th.

16 Volunteers all wearing HJCC Laulima t-shirt delivered meals in the Kalihi and Makiki areas. It was a community service project co-sponsored by the Chamber's Laulima and Women's Diversity Initiative Committees.

Volunteers included Rick Mishima, Laulima Committee Chair, Clayton Hill, PCAC Chair, Jennifer Okubo, Laulima Committee member and a lead person for Meals on Wheels project, Kristin Kamakahi, Women’s Diversity Initiative  Committee Chair, Jason Ito, HJCC Chair-Elect, Donna Kawano, Grace Wauke and Jillian Tamaru.

Lanakila Pacific is Hawaii’s largest meals on wheels provider, delivering approximately 382,000 meals to over 2,700 kupuna across Oahu annually.
